In the top picture you can see the linoleum that was exposed when we moved the new cabinets over. You can also see that the parquet next to the linoleum was coming apart. We finished the last coat of finish yesterday and today I put the molding on below the cabinets. Tomorrow I will begin putting wall boards on and add bead board to the walls.

Last weekend we joined Reed and Cathy and headed on down to Issaquah to attend Lauren's Blessing. Bill had made the trip from Colorado. We all had a great time and ate too many cookies. I am working carefully to rectify my diet.

At nights we've had negative tides and are able to walk way out beyond the beach with flash lights and find star fish fastened to the lower sides of large bolders. The color is accurate, they are a deep purple.

There's more going on here than Rich singing and strumming his guitar. Watch the details. Notice both Rich and Craig's right feet are in the elevated position. See how Craig's arms are basically down, hovering slightly forward from their intended position lower over the hips. I can't identify the young lad probably sent by his dad to rapidly remove the two chairs from behind Craig and Rich. Could this be for their own safety? If you haven't already figured it out, Rich and Craig are doing the River Dance and a dandy job of it, I must say.

All eyes turned to Alan as it was his turn to pick a song. In a desperate panic he stalls in a moment of indecision, hung up between two of his favorite songs. Why hadn't he thought this through before the pressure was on, he asked himself. Unfortunately he couldn't quite remember the title of the song he really wanted. In an unconscious phase he heard his voice call out the only thing he could come up with: "Popcorn Pop'n on the Apricot Tree".
