I have a song we could sing.

Why is it that the ones who follow the rules and patiently wait with their hand up never get called on?

What, me worry?

Click on this picture and you'll see that poor Tyler was choaking and not one person was willing to do anything other than laugh.

Kids say the darndest things.

Where are they going and what are they selling?

Is this another one of those commercials where people seem to be walking somewhere with a very special purpose while they discuss the product they are peddling?

Keeping track of those who wander.

The best way for a little girl to keep track of a wandering mother is to just ride on her shoulders.

Make your choice!

All eyes turned to Alan as it was his turn to pick a song. In a desperate panic he stalls in a moment of indecision, hung up between two of his favorite songs. Why hadn't he thought this through before the pressure was on, he asked himself. Unfortunately he couldn't quite remember the title of the song he really wanted. In an unconscious phase he heard his voice call out the only thing he could come up with: "Popcorn Pop'n on the Apricot Tree".

Sacred Nature

On this holy walk, the spirit of nature penetrated every fiber of our being. Not a word was spoken - complete reverence prevailed.

A song for the heart.

Nothing like a few good friends hang'n out, sing'n a bunch of pointless old songs.

Today must be Thursday.

If no one is at Polnell Shores, then this must be Thrusday and everyone is probably at Fort Casey flying kites, playing football, and playing hide-and-go-seek at the gun batteries.

Jonathan's pictures are here!

Wait a minute. Who took this picture? Obviously it wasn't the Brickman.

Jonathan's pictures are now available on line at http://www.clarephotography.com/ .

I will be using them for posts on this blog for a while.

Oh! the pain!

No thanks, my tennis shoes are fine today.

Inspite of the fact that it appears as though Andy is politely explaining to an insistant shoe shine boy that he doesn't feel his tennis shoes really need a shine; this is actually Alec with his camera bag over his sholder watching for the perfect photo op.

A special power.

Megan astounded us with her ability to accurately predict the winner of each arm wrestling match long before they began.

In time they always figure it out.

Michael petitioned Craig's help in opening his water bottle; however; Craig, in his wisdom, chose to teach Michael using the discovery method.

Another UFO sighting.

Bill and Cathy can hardly believe their eyes and yet no one else seems to notice!

Money is worthless unless it becomes yours.

Is that money Daniel found on the beach? That must be Matthew in the background with his yellow bucket hoping to find his fortune.

It's a small world after all

You never know who you're going to meet on the beach. Here are three popular models that worked together in Hollywood on "layout shoots". They were each surprised and thrilled to run into eachother on the beach at Bowman Bay.

A moment to reflect

Rich and Cindy take a moment to verify their worst fear; that they have gone by this place at least twice.

Ocean worship

In some parts of the world it is considered a holy practice to collect ocean water in orange and pink plastic buckets. This should only be done at the highest point of a NEAP tide or the mid point of a SPRING tide. Emily left her tide tables at home so she's giving it her best guess.

Quienes son?

Who are these two? They kept showing up at all of our family functions and acted like we should all know them. I heard they even stayed at Cathy and Reeds house.

It's hard work, but someone's gotta do it.

Alec and Matthew found that there's a lot more to the construction of a hydroelectric plant than meets the eye.
