The eagle has landed.

This is an eagle that has landed on a water pump shed on a farm near our house. I didn't think I had a very good shot of it until I cropped it out of the picture an blew it up.

A Visitor

Janet has bird feeders on our front deck. Many small finches come in large groups to feed; however; today I noticed someone new had come to visit. Before jumping to the conclusion that this is a large dove, take another look at it's beek in the upper picture.

Bob and Carol's Visit

In October Bob and Carol visited us. We had a great time riding ferries, hiking, shopping, sitting around talking, and sleeping in late.

Animal Kingdom

What can I say. It's so hard to get anything done around here when no one seem to want to work!

Live Star Fish

At nights we've had negative tides and are able to walk way out beyond the beach with flash lights and find star fish fastened to the lower sides of large bolders. The color is accurate, they are a deep purple.

Where is this ferry headed?

Shouldn't one of these two be paying attention to where they are going to be sure they get back.
